A Whimsical Nursery

Inspired by a playful and fresh feel, I wanted this nursery design to feel fanciful and appealing, yet comfortable. The wallpaper was created as the main focal point in the room. A hand-painted wallpaper is always the way to go for a show-stopping moment. Since the clients wanted custom drapery, I went with a goblet pleat panel with a bow attachment to complete the look.

For added comfort, we included an oversized rocker chair and ottoman in a lightly colored performance fabric ready to take on any potential spills (as well as endure the family pet). An ornate, tufted ottoman rests next to a grand plush giraffe embellished with a complementary bow.

The client wanted to keep the color palette super soft, so we made sure nothing jarring was in the space. We balanced the soft green and pink tones with sterling silver picture frames collected on a soft pink skirted side table.
