Perfect Hostess Gift
The holidays are fast approaching & I’m sure your social calendars are already lit up like a Christmas tree with events to attend & friends & family’s parties to enjoy.Ā Between kiddos, work & charities, this is a busy busy time of year.Ā Don’t show up at one of those parties empty handed!Ā Give the hostess with the mostest a thoughtful token of your appreciation for throwing a celebratory holiday soiree.Ā I have 3 “Go To” hostess gifts that I prefer to give (& receive!).
1) Fragrant candles:Ā My favorites are Niven Morgan, Christian Tortu & Trapp.Ā They are all yummy & come in pretty packaging that need very little (if any) wrapping.
2) A good bottle of wine:Ā Nothing says thank you like toasting a great party with a group of friends.Ā Or, if wine is already being served, the hostess can add it to their bar to seve at a later date.Ā My favorites to take along are Seghesio & Beringer Alluvium.
3)Ā Cocktail table books:Ā This is the gift that keeps on giving.Ā I love giving entertaining or interior design books to my friends & clients.Ā They will the have tons of eye candy & inspiration wrapped inside a visualicious (that’s my new word!) hardcover book.Ā Also, the ones with pretty bindings & covers can pull double duty as decor on cocktail tables, bookshelves, nightstands & end tables!Ā We just got a new shipment in at IBB (pictured left) & our patrons are eating them up!
