Tour a fabulous Highland Homes model home in Allen in the Star Creek subdivision.Ā This fabulous family room features crisp ivory linen drapery panels contrasted with rich woven wood shades.Ā We used a rustic terracotta tile & laid it in a gorgeous Versailles pattern.Ā The stone fireplace and dark cedar ceilingĀ beams give the room a warm cozy feel.
My absolute favorite item in this room are the super cool accent chairs in the foreground of the photo.Ā I love the dark wood frame and light neutral fabric.Ā We finished the chairs with a medium sized nailhead for a stylish touch.
Some admirers may call this look British West Indies or tropical.Ā I call it simply fabulous.Ā Now, all we need is a margarita & a cabana boy !
