Tour a fabulous Highland Homes model home in Allen in the Star Creek subdivision.  This fabulous family room features crisp ivory linen drapery panels contrasted with rich woven wood shades.  We used a rustic terracotta tile & laid it in a gorgeous Versailles pattern.  The stone fireplace and dark cedar ceiling  beams give the room a warm cozy feel.

My absolute favorite item in this room are the super cool accent chairs in the foreground of the photo.  I love the dark wood frame and light neutral fabric.  We finished the chairs with a medium sized nailhead for a stylish touch.

Some admirers may call this look British West Indies or tropical.  I call it simply fabulous.  Now, all we need is a margarita & a cabana boy !
