Add some pop!

Today’s Design Dilemma:  Using color to make your room say WOW!

Take a monochromatic or neutral color palette from drab to fab!  Add a few simple pops of color to create some drama like we have in this cozy family room.  The builder white walls are brought to life by a sophisticated colorful print on the draperies hanging on simple wood rods & rings.  The fireplace is a great focal point, but you really take notice with the addition of the bright artwork.  Notice the ultra-functional red ottomans in front of the coffee table.  Small movable ottomans are one of my favorite “must-have” pieces!  We’ve added a few colorful throw pillows & some accessories to complete the look.  So easy to do!  Try some of these tricks in your family room for a quick makeover.
