As a long-time North Texas native, Andrea began her career in the mortgage industry in 1998, first as Andrea Drake & Associates and later partnering with national home builders as well as Prime Lending, Inc., Community Trust Bank and First Private Bank.
As a way to provide herself and her family more flexibility, and exercise her creative talents, she transitioned to home design, in 2014 establishing in Drake + Frye Home where she and her partner were recognized in HGTV’s Fresh Faces of Design and later Andrea Drake Designs. From designing a single room to full home new builds and renovations, Andrea’s talent for creating comfortable, livable yet elegant interior design makes her clients feel she has listened to their needs and then exceeded their vision.
Helping homeowners visualize the potential of a home brings her very naturally to expand her services to include finding the perfect home for buyers making their first major purchase, or perhaps those ready to upscale or downsize. Her established network of industry partners and community connections make the process friendly, smooth and stress-free.
Andrea, her husband Randy and their three sons have made McKinney home for many years. She is very proud of her work with the Samaritan Inn and Family Gateway where she has assisted in creating home spaces for families in transition. Through the many outreach opportunities at her church using her natural gifts of identifying the connections and commonalities between individuals, families and organizations have made her an invaluable resource to many.
