Cheryl, an accomplished interior designer based in Dallas, brings more than 20 years of experience to IBB Design Fine Furnishings. A self-described Navy brat born in California, Cheryl lived all over the country before putting down roots in Dallas. She holds a BS from Baylor University and spent 11 years as a designer where she was repeatedly recognized as a designer. She began her career advising clients on remodeling projects before expanding into space planning and furniture selections, and she is an allied member of ASID.
Cheryl’s guiding belief is simple: “Design a space you’d love to visit; design the life you want.” Her signature style is curated, timeless casual elegance â always tailored to each client’s taste, with a touch of traditional to ground the space. She begins every project by listening: hearing her clients’ vision, asking clarifying questions, and understanding the scope before offering ideas to build on. Clients consistently praise her attentiveness, both to them and to the smallest details of their spaces. Inspired by the world around her â travel, architecture, and nature â Cheryl believes inspiration can come from anywhere: “you just have to be looking for it.” After more than two decades, what she loves most about design is its variety â no two projects, and no two clients, are ever the same.
Her love of design started early: at eight years old, her mom came home to find Cheryl had rearranged all the furniture and re-accessorized the room. Beyond design, her passions are travel, food, and family.
